Podcast - Elevating Local Entrepreneur Stories and Expert Insights

The Situation

Entrepreneurs across North Carolina needed practical, real-world guidance they could access on their own time.

We also wanted to elevate the voices of local founders and ESOs (Entrepreneur Support Organizations) and create an evergreen content library we could repurpose across channels (blog, newsletter, trainings).

What I Did

Owned the podcast end-to-end: concept, editorial strategy, format, and release plan.

  • Researched and personally conducted every interview across 42 total episodes.

  • Guest Ops: Scheduled and prepped guests—often pairing one ESO leader with one founder/user to highlight how support turns into real outcomes.

  • Production Management:

    • Managed the full workflow: recording → editing → QA → publish.

    • Partnered with a production team for polished edits.

    • Used Audacity for recording/editing when working outside the production company.

    • Hosted and tracked analytics with Libsyn.

  • Content Marketing per episode: Show notes, social copy, email blurbs, and partner cross-promotion.

  • Distribution: Published on all major podcast platforms and integrated each episode into Supportedly’s blog and resource library.

  • Iteration: Tracked performance in Libsyn and refined topics/guests based on what resonated.

Tools: Libsyn (hosting & analytics), Audacity (recording/editing outside production company), plus a lightweight internal PM workflow to keep episodes on schedule.
