Reworking the Global Distribution Contract Lifecycle

The Situation

Genova Diagnostics managed distribution partnerships in over 20 countries, but the contract lifecycle was outdated and decentralized. Teams relied on manual processes and email chains, which led to version control issues, delays, and compliance risk. With an acquisition underway, the stakes for accuracy and consistency were even higher.


What I Did

I redesigned the contract management process from end to end, using SharePoint as a centralized platform.

Process Redesign and Implementation

  • Audited the existing contract process, identifying breakdowns in access, accountability, and documentation

  • Migrated all distributor contracts to SharePoint with version control, access restrictions, and searchable indexing

  • Created standardized templates and workflows for contract generation, review, and renewal

Training and Adoption

  • Trained legal, sales, and operations teams on the new process

  • Worked cross-functionally to ensure compliance with international documentation and legal standards
